Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Take your behavioral health expertise to the next level by supporting students as a Registered Behavior Technician in a dynamic educational environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to create positive change for children and collaborate with educational staff in a school setting near Mount Kisco, NY.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required. Previous experience working with children or adolescents in a behavioral or educational setting is highly valued. Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and interventions. Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team. Professional, compassionate, and responsive demeanor when supporting students with diverse learning and behavioral needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Collect and record data on student responses and progress. Assist in developing skill acquisition and behavior reduction plans tailored to students' needs. Provide direct support and guidance during school hours to promote positive behaviors and learning outcomes. Collaborate consistently with teachers, staff, and families to ensure consistency in intervention delivery. Participate in ongoing training and supervision to maintain the highest clinical standards.
