RCA Rural Carrier Associate

Overview The Rural Carrier Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of mail and packages to rural areas. This position requires a commitment to excellent customer service, as well as the ability to navigate various delivery routes. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills and be comfortable handling heavy lifting and operating delivery vehicles. Responsibilities Deliver mail and packages along designated rural routes in a timely manner. Operate delivery vehicles, including those with manual transmissions, safely and responsibly. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns from customers during deliveries. Load and unload mail and packages, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary. Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking any issues or delays encountered on the route. Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including moving items and organizing inventory. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience in delivery driving or route driving preferred. Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 70 lbs) as required by the job. You Must Provide Vehicle to deliver mail from the righthand side of the vehicle Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with clients and address their needs. Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is advantageous. Previous experience using pallet jacks or forklifts is beneficial but not mandatory.
