Job description Real Estate Investment & Development Analyst Intern Summer Internship | Washington, DC We are seeking a highly motivated Real Estate Investment & Development Analyst Intern to support our team across acquisitions, asset management, and ground-up development initiatives. This role provides direct exposure to the full lifecycle of real estate investments within a vertically integrated platform. Key Responsibilities Support underwriting and financial analysis for acquisitions, developments, and value-add investments, including building and auditing Excel models (NOI, DSCR, IRR, equity waterfalls) Assist in the preparation of investment memoranda and presentation materials for internal investment committee and external partners Participate in asset management activities across an existing portfolio, including performance tracking, rent roll analysis, and variance reporting against budget and business plans Work closely with development teams on active projects from pre-development through construction, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination with architects, contractors, and consultants Conduct market research, comp analysis, and leasing and sales strategy support for multifamily and condominium assets Assist with capital markets efforts, including debt and equity sourcing materials, lender and investor communication, and due diligence processes Support ongoing reporting to investors and lenders, including quarterly updates and additional analyses as needed Demonstrates ability and willingness to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and improve analytical outcomes.
