Job Description

Position:
Serves as the primary contact in the receiving department, and is responsible for receiving all deliveries into the warehouse. Keeping records of all products coming into the facility, putting away in the proper location while collaborating with purchasing, inventory and production departments.
Responsibilities:
Unload and unpack shipments of products Inspect shipments for damage and correct quantities Report damages and shortages to the appropriate person Ensure that the product(s) in each delivery matches packaging slip Properly accounting for the location of incoming goods Communicating to the appropriate group what has arrived and give the documents that correlate with delivery Record all deliveries: number of pallets, cartons or pieces Assist and coordinate samples of raw materials for lab personnel to perform quality checks Coordinate with the batch maker supervisor, organizing raw products being received into that specific area Responsible for all outbound FedEx Ground shipments Assist shipping department, quality control and production when necessary Other duties and tasks may be assigned as needed
Position Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in warehouse and/or manufacturing
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience operating forklift
  • Detailed-oriented mindset
