Position Overview The Receiving Specialist plays a critical role in supporting production and inventory operations by ensuring incoming materials, parts, and equipment are accurately received, inspected, documented, and stored. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience working within an ERP system to maintain accurate inventory records and support efficient material flow throughout the facility. The ideal candidate has prior receiving or warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment and is comfortable using ERP software. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a strong plus. Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage
  • Verify packing slips, purchase orders, and inventory quantities
  • Accurately enter receiving transactions into the ERP system
  • Label, organize, and store materials in designated inventory locations
  • Coordinate with purchasing, production, and warehouse teams regarding shortages or discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle count activities
  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely
  • Assist with shipping, inventory movement, and warehouse organization as needed
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within receiving and inventory processes Qualifications Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Previous receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience
  • Experience using ERP systems for inventory or receiving transactions
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift materials and work in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset Preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Forklift experience or certification
  • Experience with inventory cycle counts and material tracking
  • Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Working Conditions
  • Manufacturing shop and warehouse environment
  • Frequent standing, lifting, and movement throughout the facility
