Urgent Hiring!! - Forklift $18 an hour Bettendorf, Iowa 1st shift: 7:30am-4pm Job Summary We are seeking a Receiving / Forklift Operator to safely move pipe and related materials throughout our Bettendorf, Iowa facility. This role supports key warehouse and production functions across departments including Receiving, Shipping, Pipe Cell, and Packaging . You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate material handling, order fulfillment, and shipment preparation while maintaining a strong focus on safety and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Operate powered industrial trucks (sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) to safely transport materials Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments from trucks and containers Move materials to designated storage and pick locations in a timely, organized manner Accurately pick, stage, and prepare customer orders based on work instructions Verify incoming shipments by checking quantities and descriptions against documentation Label, barcode, bundle, wrap, and prepare materials for storage or shipment Cut pipe to specifications and properly segregate and identify scrap Restock inventory and maintain efficient pick locations Assist with will-call and customer pickup orders Support general warehouse functions including picking, packing, loading, and inventory tasks Follow all safety procedures while operating equipment Maintain a clean and organized work environment Required Qualifications 1+ year of forklift or powered industrial truck experience in a warehouse or production setting Experience working from work orders and written instructions Material handling experience (staging, moving, organizing product) Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, loading, and moving materials Basic knowledge of shipping and receiving processes Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to follow instructions and work safely at all times Willingness to work 1st shift in a non-climate-controlled environment Preferred Qualifications 6+ months of sit-down forklift experience Experience with pallet jacks and warehouse equipment in packing, wrapping, labeling, and barcoding Familiarity with inventory tracking and product identification Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented mindset with willingness to support multiple departments Why Join Us?
