Receptionist

We are seeking a part-time front desk receptionist for our well-established multi-discipline healthcare facility, located in East Rutherford, NJ.

• Schedule as follows
• Tuesdays 3:00pm
• 7:00pm Wednesday 1:30 pm
• 6:30pm Thursday 3:00pm
• 7:00pm Every Saturday 8:30am
• 2:00pm approx. 19 hrs/week Saturdays are a non-negotiable. If you cannot commit to Saturdays, please do not apply. Applicant must demonstrate the following qualities:
• Strong communication skills for phone, email, and face to face
• must be able to work independently
• Excellent computer skills
• Office experience and moderate knowledge of healthcare insurance policies is a plus Responsibilities Greet and welcome patients as soon as they arrive at the office Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls Verify insurances Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email Collect payments Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing Hourly wage is relative to experience and productivity.
