Job Description
This position requires a detailed-oriented individual who can support the Domestic Violence Program, Department Director/Coordinator and Family Violence Prevention Department staff and clients. Must have the ability to remain calm in crisis situations and understand the dynamics of domestic violence, sexual assault, human sex trafficking, stalking and teen dating violence. The Receptionist Advocate will process all non-client payables for the Department, order office supplies and equipment as needed, coordinate all client purchases with other staff, and carry a small client load. Upload your tribal Membership card, if claiming Osage or Native American preference Answer all questions Any information given may be verified You must sign/acknowledge your application to be considered for this position Osage preference does apply Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED 1 or more years of office experience required 6 months or more of experience working with people who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault, teen dating violence, or other violent crimes required Willing and able to be on call 24/7 for Crisis Line and be willing to travel at night including being able to go out on crisis calls when needed Willing and able to lift, push, kneel, bend, reach overhead, and pull/carry up to 30 lbs. General Qualifications Associate's degree preferred Must become certified to conduct an Ontario Domestic Assault Risk Assessment in the first 90 days of hire Must become certified to conduct danger assessments within first 90 days of hire Must become a certified victim advocate within 6 months of hire Must become a notary public within 90 days of hire Must be able to deal with potentially hostile and/or uncooperative individuals and handle stress Requires a high level of personal integrity and ethics Must maintain confidential information regarding clients and potential clients Experience with Microix or similar software Requires a high level of problem-solving skills Requires a high level of technical writing skills Requires willingness and ability to learn new skills, including travel to conferences and training sessions Requires ability to use Microsoft Office Suite programs Requires good interpersonal communication and teamwork skills Must be able to pass a criminal background check Must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required to drive GSA or tribal vehicles Receptionist/Advocate Osage Nation Health Center Pawhuska, OK 74056 Full-time Full-time This position requires a detailed-oriented individual who can support the Domestic Violence Program, Department Director/Coordinator and Family Violence Prevention Department staff and clients.
