Job description: Overview MBC Companies is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Receptionist/Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, including employee relations and training development. This position is essential for fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring that our human capital management processes run smoothly. Responsibilities Support employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a seamless transition for new hires. Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date. Assist with training development initiatives and facilitate training of production associates Provide support in managing employee relations issues, addressing concerns, and promoting a positive work environment. Collaborate with the HR team on workforce management systems and strategies to optimize staffing levels. Ensure all visitors follow the proper protocol and are registered in the guest/visitor book Ensures proper inventory of office supplies is kept. Orders, receives and stocks supplies upon arrival. Sorts and distributes communications in a timely manner Skills Minimum of 2 years office and/or HR experience Strong computer skills Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required Experience with HR software systems. Experience in training development and implementation of training programs. Excellent interpersonal skills for effective employee relations.
