Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Recreational Vehicle (RV) Technician, where you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and repairing a wide range of recreational vehicles to ensure they are safe, reliable, and ready for adventure. Duties Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including automotive electrical systems and wiring harnesses, ensuring all components function correctly. Perform mechanical repairs such as engine diagnostics, transmission servicing, suspension adjustments, shocks & struts replacement, and brake repairs. Conduct routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and fluid checks to keep vehicles operating smoothly. Repair specialized systems like HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and air brake systems to maintain comfort and safety standards. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and other specialized equipment to assemble, disassemble, and repair various RV components. Inspect and service diesel engines and heavy-duty equipment parts to ensure optimal performance. Assist with vehicle assembly or reassembly after repairs and perform equipment repair or replacement as needed. Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and document all repairs performed for quality assurance. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Skills Proven dealership experience or service technician background with a strong understanding of RV diagnostics. Extensive mechanical knowledge covering , suspension systems, HVAC units, tire services, and brake systems. Electrical experience with automotive electrical systems wiring, soldering skills, and troubleshooting capabilities. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools required for vehicle repair. Ability to lift heavy objects safely during vehicle maintenance tasks; physical stamina is essential. Experience working with Trucks and heavy-duty vehicle components is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Knowledge of auto body repair techniques or assembly processes is a plus. Familiarity with plumbing systems within RVs or similar environments adds value to your skill set. $20.00 - $50.00 per hour
