• Part-time, Full-time Etta Hills Farm is hiring a reliable and responsible individual to serve as a Logistics Driver .

This role is responsible for the transportation of livestock, pickup of processed products, and delivery of farm products to customers, restaurants, and retail partners. This is a critical position requiring someone who is dependable, comfortable with long-distance driving, and able to work independently while maintaining strong communication. Hours will vary week to week depending on logistics needs, typically ranging from 20-45 hours per week , with potential to grow.

Responsibilities:

Livestock Transport:

Transport livestock safely to processing facilities Load and unload animals following farm protocols Ensure animal welfare during transport

Product Pickup & Delivery:

Pick up processed meat and products from processors Deliver products to customers, retail partners, and restaurants Maintain product quality during transport

Logistics Execution:

Follow assigned delivery schedules and routes Communicate clearly regarding timing, delays, and completion

Vehicle Operation & Maintenance:

Operate truck and trailer Operate box truck or freight truck (if applicable) Perform basic vehicle and trailer checks Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and equipment

Requirements:

Valid driver's license Comfortable driving: Truck and trailer Box truck / freight truck Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly Comfortable with long driving days (10+ hours at times) Comfortable driving in heavy traffic Comfortable working around livestock Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Strong communication skills

Schedule:

Part-time position Flexible hours Typically 20-45 hours per week Some long driving days required Early mornings, late evenings, and occasional weekends

Compensation:

$14

• 18/hour based on experience Paid biweekly
