Job Description
Description Regional Branch Manager I Exempt
- Grade Level 8 Equal Employment Opportunity This position will oversee the Fenton Market area, including branch locations in Fenton, Linden, Holly, Grand Blanc, Brighton and Troy.
Reports To:
SVP Head of Retail Banking Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage Merchant Services partnership, maintaining appropriate knowledge of changing technology and market competition. Maintain regular communication with partner and SVP Head of Retail Banking regarding program effectiveness, referrals and financial development. Coach branch managers to banking center KPRs and ensure assigned branches stay on target with annual goals. Train managers on interviewing skills, ensure recruiting standards and methods are met, and be involved in the selection process for positions within the region. Holds banking center teams accountable for meeting marketing and sales campaign expectations. Makes appropriate P&L decisions for their region including but not limited to managing refunds, approving rate exceptions, incentive and pay recommendations. Maintain appropriate skills and education for the position, represent ChoiceOne professionally in all meetings and events and provide the necessary coaching and development of their assigned teams. Collaborate with the regional management team to maximize communications efficiency within the bank. Coach assigned managers on a regular basis to ensure compliance with sales and operational expectations. Partner with assigned management teams to identify training opportunities, development plans and staffing needs within the region. Partner with human resources on performance management challenges within the region. Assist in preparation of annual budget. Be familiar with and comply with all federal and state banking regulations as applicable. Coach, mentor, and train Branch Managers in sales and relationship development. Accountable for overseeing branch sales and referral goals. Conduct quarterly KPR's and Annual Reviews for Branch Management Staff. Be familiar with and comply with the provisions of the Bank Secrecy Act andUSA PATRIOT
Act as they relate to the functions of this position. Complete all required reports related to those acts and reports any observed violations or potential violations of those acts to a supervisor or other appropriate bank officer. Be familiar with and comply with all federal and state banking regulations as applicable. Additional responsibilities as assigned.
