The Regional Environmental, Health & Safety Manager is responsible for coordinating and overseeing regional activities associated with Environmental, Health and Safety compliance.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for leading and directing the environmental, health and safety activities for water, wastewater, and public works operations projects in a designated region.Responsibilities include:
Reinforce safe working techniques, the safety policies, guidelines, and procedures set out by the Company. Provide daily guidance and direction at the regional level to ensure a common and effective approach, assist with regulatory compliance and aid with incident and injury reduction. Develop, implement, and coordinate regulatory programs which help direct and support the compliance process. Demonstrate a strong knowledge of Federal and Regional regulations (OSHA and EPA) with a proven track record of implementing compliance programs. Responsible for Environmental regulatory and reporting requirements including but not limited to NPDES, CWA, SDWA, EPCRA, RCRA, SPCC, RMP and other applicable air and waste regulations. Understand the environmental compliance regulatory environment for water and wastewater treatment (Clean Water Act- CWA, Safe Drinking Water Act
- SDWA and National Pollution Discharge Elimination System
- NPDES Permitting).
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Education/Experience :
Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of experience in safety management, environmental management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Licenses/Certifications :
Valid Driver's License. CSP, ASP, Safety, Water or Wastewater Operator Certification or Traffic Control a plus.Technical :
Ability to follow manual & operating instructions. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications & internet. Advanced knowledge of OSHA regulations and Environmental Regulations.Communication :
Communicates clearly & professionally. Contributes to a positive internal & external customer experience. Maintains composure in challenging situations. Collaborates with others. Asks for constructive feedback. Communicates detailed information.Problem Solving & Quality :

Ability to travel to all assigned projects within the region. Sitting, standing, walking on uneven ground, up and down stairs and in process areas, bending and lifting are required to perform job responsibilities.
