Responsibilities Safely operate a range of commercial trucks including manual transmission tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks across regional or long-haul routes Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records Route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to all safety standards and traffic laws Handle freight securely during transit to prevent damage or loss during load & unload processes Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route changes, or any issues encountered on the road Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements suitable for the type of truck operated (e.g., refrigerated trailer, tanker) Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver experience with Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and freight handling Experience with route driving across regional or long-distance routes preferred Ability to operate forklifts or other loading equipment is a plus but not mandatory Embark on a rewarding career that combines skillful driving with essential logistics!
