Regional OTR Driver

Company Overview DeConna Ice Cream is a leading distributor of ice cream products, proudly serving customers throughout Florida, and surrounding states. Our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction drives us to deliver the finest ice cream selections to our customers. Summary DeConna Ice Cream is seeking a Part-time Regional OTR driver for 2 to 3 days a week with a possible 4th day as needed. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver and pick up goods from various locations efficiently and safely. Excellent customer interaction with safe and courteous driving skills is a must. Competitive pay, company truck supplied. On average, home every night and weekends, overnight 2 nights a month. Candidate must have a clean Class A license with DOT Medical Card. Experience required. Meal stipend provided for overnight stays. Pay will be discussed upon hire. DeConna Ice Cream is a drug free workplace. Drug testing and background check are required.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicle to transport goods along route
• Follow the planned route for timely deliveries/pick up
• Ensure all deliveries are accurately documented and signed for by the recipient
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks

Skills:

• Experience with refrigerated and perishable goods
• Knowledge of warehouse operations to facilitate loading procedures
