With primary responsibilities in employee and talent management, executive client relations, clinical quality oversight, and business development initiatives, the RVP plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest standard of medical and mental health services for the incarcerated population. Additionally, the RVP manages regional profit and loss, strategically allocating healthcare funds to maximize the delivery of quality care while maintaining commitments to employees, clients, and stakeholders through effective collaboration with a regional team and the home office.
Qualifications & Requirements :
Education Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Business Administration, or health related field. Master's Degree preferred. Experience Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in delivery and administration of multi-site management. Experience in correctional medical, dental, and mental health care preferred. Licenses/Certifications
NCCHC-CCHP
certification required or in process Compliance Must comply with all current and future State, Federal and Local laws and regulations, court orders, department rules, administrative directives, institutional directives, American Correctional Association (ACA), the Institute for Medical Quality (IMQ) Standards, National Commission on Correctional Healthcare (NCCHC) and policies and procedures of applicable sites.
Key Responsibilities :
Leadership and Team Development:
Mentor, coach, and support direct reports, evaluating performance and fostering professional development opportunities. Create a cohesive work environment, encouraging teamwork, communication, and constructive conflict resolution.
Operational Oversight:
Review clinical and operational metrics, ensuring facilities meet or exceed clinical, service, and operating objectives. Monitor compliance with contracts, policies, regulations, and reporting requirements, proposing solutions for identified problem areas.
Financial Management:
Analyze financial statements, create and maintain budgets, and participate in the development of annual operating plans. Evaluate financial and statistical data, making recommendations for operational improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Clinical Quality and Compliance:
Develop and monitor clinical quality metrics, identifying and addressing training needs for clinical staff. Ensure appropriate licensure, credentialing, and insurance coverage for medical personnel, actively participating in Quality Improvement standards.
Client Relations and Business Development:
Collaborate with corporate and support functions to ensure success, participating in business development through marketing, proposal writing, and oral presentations. Foster positive client relationships, maintaining contract obligations, forecasting resource requirements, and actively participating in key meetings and planning sessions.
