Cranberry Township, PA Schedule:

At DTAC, we are committed to helping youth heal, grow, and succeed through trauma-informed and evidence-based behavioral health services. We are currently seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Behavioral Health Technicians (RBHTs) to join our Residential Treatment Facility team in Cranberry Township, PA. This position plays a vital role in creating a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for adolescent clients receiving residential behavioral health treatment. Position Overview The Registered Behavioral Health Technician (RBHT) provides direct supervision, behavioral support, and therapeutic engagement to youth within the residential program. RBHTs assist with daily routines, crisis intervention, skill-building activities, recreational programming, and maintaining a trauma-informed environment that supports client growth and safety. Key Responsibilities Ensure the safety, supervision, and well-being of youth within the residential program Support daily routines, structure, and therapeutic programming Build positive and professional relationships with clients while maintaining appropriate boundaries Utilize trauma-informed and de-escalation techniques during behavioral crises Monitor client behaviors and communicate significant concerns to leadership and clinical staff Facilitate and support recreational, community, and life-skills activities Complete accurate and timely documentation including shift logs, incident reports, and client observations Maintain awareness of client location and ensure proper supervision ratios are maintained Collaborate with clinical, nursing, and leadership teams to support individualized treatment goals Assist with transportation and community-based activities as needed Maintain compliance with agency policies, procedures, and state regulations Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field preferred OR Associate degree or 60 college credits with related experience OR High school diploma/GED with significant experience working with youth in behavioral health, residential treatment, or human services may be considered depending on qualifications and state requirementsPreferred Experience Experience working with adolescents in behavioral health, residential treatment, child welfare, or juvenile justice settings Knowledge of trauma-informed care and crisis intervention strategies Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations Why DTAC?
