MUST HAVE RBT LICENSE!
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this vital role, you will work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, to implement individualized behavior intervention plans. Your enthusiasm and compassionate approach will help foster meaningful progress and positive outcomes for the clients you serve. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference in people's lives while gaining valuable experience in behavioral therapy and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Responsibilities Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and strategies as outlined in personalized care plans. Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, and toileting, promoting independence. Support teaching sessions aimed at developing communication, social, and life skills tailored to each individual's needs. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including progress notes, behavior logs, and treatment records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with supervisors, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistency and quality of care. Uphold patient care standards by demonstrating patience, empathy, and professionalism during all interactions. Skills Strong understanding of behavioral therapy principles and applied behavior analysis techniques. Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Proficiency in data collection methods and behavior management strategies. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance. Ability to assist with ADLs while encouraging independence and positive reinforcement. Excellent teaching skills with a patient-centered approach to support learning and growth. Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families.
