Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this vital role, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Your dedication will foster growth, independence, and improved quality of life for those you serve. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to apply your passion for helping others while developing your skills in behavioral health and special education. Duties Deliver individualized behavioral therapy sessions based on approved treatment plans, focusing on skill development and behavior management. Collect, record, and analyze data on client progress to ensure treatment efficacy and inform ongoing care plans. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, feeding, toileting, and other self-care tasks to promote independence. Support clients during educational activities, applying principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to reinforce positive behaviors. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, documenting session details, progress notes, and any incidents in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with team members to develop and update individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs. Foster a safe, supportive environment by implementing behavior management strategies that promote positive interactions and reduce challenging behaviors. Skills Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Experience working with children or individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities. Excellent skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting to track client progress effectively. Compassionate approach to working with individuals requiring patient care and behavioral health support. Knowledge of medical terminology, documentation standards, and medical records management. Ability to follow detailed care plans and implement behavior management strategies consistently. Pay:
$25.80 - $31.07 per hour
