As an RBT, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement individualized behavior intervention plans. Your role is vital in helping clients develop essential skills, improve daily functioning, and achieve meaningful progress. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact while gaining valuable experience in applied behavior analysis (ABA), special education, and patient care. Duties Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to promote positive behaviors and skill development. Collect and record data on client behaviors, progress, and response to interventions accurately and consistently. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as dressing, grooming, eating, and communication skills, fostering independence. Support clients during therapy sessions by teaching social skills, communication techniques, and behavioral management strategies. Maintain confidentiality of client information in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure accurate medical documentation. Collaborate with team members to update care plans and contribute insights based on client progress and behavior patterns. Create a safe, supportive environment that encourages growth, patience, and respect for each individual's unique needs. Skills Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis principles. Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder. Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior management strategies effectively. Excellent data collection skills to track progress and inform treatment adjustments. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance standards. Compassionate approach combined with patience, adaptability, and excellent communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to behavioral health and special education goals. Join us in making a difference!
