Job Description

Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster meaningful progress in clients' communication, social skills, and daily living activities. Duties Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors. Collect and record accurate data on client behaviors, progress, and responses during therapy sessions to inform ongoing treatment plans. Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, eating, and toileting, to support independence. Support clients in developing communication skills through various teaching strategies tailored to their needs. Maintain confidentiality of client information in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ensure all medical documentation is complete and up-to-date. Collaborate with the supervising BCBA and other team members to review progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed. Foster a positive, patient-centered environment that encourages learning, growth, and emotional well-being for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Skills Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA). Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder. Ability to assist with ADLs and implement behavior management strategies effectively. Excellent data collection skills to track client progress accurately and efficiently. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and care plans related to behavioral health. Compassionate approach with patience, flexibility, and excellent communication skills. Ability to adhere to confidentiality standards such as HIPAA and maintain detailed medical documentation.
