Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Embark on a fulfilling contract opportunity in a school-based environment supporting high-needs students with autism. This full-time role begins as soon as possible and extends through the remainder of the current school year, with the possibility of continuing based on district needs. You'll have an impact in a structured special education setting, collaborating with a dedicated team to deliver intensive behavioral and classroom support. What we're looking for: Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification Prior experience in school-based settings is highly desirable Background working with students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who present significant behavioral and communication needs Proficiency with Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), behavior data collection, and proven de-escalation techniques Training in SafetyCare is strongly preferred Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities—comfortable working alongside educators, therapists, and support personnel Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to supporting student success Duties and key responsibilities: Deliver hands-on behavioral support and classroom assistance to students with intensive needs Implement and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans with fidelity, maintaining accurate documentation Apply de-escalation techniques and follow safety protocols as trained Work collaboratively with teachers, special educators, and related service providers Actively participate in team meetings and contribute professional insights Uphold a compassionate and structured classroom environment tailored to individual student needs If you're passionate about enriching the educational experience for students who require meaningful behavioral support, we want to connect with you!
