Job Description

Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a skilled professional with behavioral expertise. This contract position is ideal for a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), BCBA, or social worker with behavioral skills. This role involves providing essential behavioral and therapeutic support to students in a collaborative educational environment from now through the second week of June. You'll play a pivotal role for 3.5 hours each day, applying evidence-based practices to promote positive behavioral change and student well-being. This is a fantastic chance to make an immediate impact and work closely with a team of educators and specialists near Millsboro, DE.
Key Qualifications:
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or BCBA credential required Experience working as a school-based social worker with behavioral skills strongly preferred Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles Ability to develop and implement behavioral intervention plans Strong interpersonal and communication skills Capacity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Flexibility and sensitivity when supporting students with diverse needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver behavioral support services to students, consistent with prescribed plans Collect and maintain data on student progress and behavior Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to reinforce positive strategies Participate in team meetings to discuss student goals and interventions Provide guidance, modeling, and feedback to help students develop adaptive skills Maintain confidentiality and comply with school policies
