  • Part-time, Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team.
The RBT will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role involves providing behavioral therapy and supporting clients in achieving their developmental and behavioral goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA), experience working with children, and a commitment to patient care and confidentiality. Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans developed by supervising BCBA, utilizing principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) Collect and record data accurately during sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Support teaching and skill acquisition across various developmental areas, including communication, social skills, and self-care Maintain detailed medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with team members to develop and modify individualized treatment strategies based on client progress Foster a positive, supportive environment that encourages growth and learning for clients with autism and other developmental disabilities Adhere to all safety protocols and ethical standards related to patient care, medical terminology, and behavior management Skills Experience with behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles Prior work with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Strong understanding of medical documentation, medical records management, and HIPAA compliance Ability to assist with ADLs effectively while maintaining patient dignity and confidentiality Excellent teaching skills tailored to diverse learning styles and needs Proficiency in data collection methods for tracking client progress over time Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to behavioral health settings Compassionate approach toward working with people with special needs; patience and excellent communication skills are essential Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team focused on client-centered care This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring behavioral support while developing valuable skills in the field of behavioral health.
