Category Schools - RBT - Registered Behavior Technician Job Type Contract Looking for a fulfilling opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students? We are seeking a skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a contract position in a supportive school environment near West Hartford, CT. As an RBT, you will play a key role in utilizing evidence-based strategies to support students' learning, social, and behavioral goals.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required Previous experience working with children or adolescents in school or clinical settings Strong organizational and communication skills Demonstrated ability to implement treatment plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Experience collecting data and recording student progress Flexibility and adaptability in classroom settings
Responsibilities & Duties:
Deliver one-on-one and group behavioral interventions according to students' individualized educational and behavioral plans Monitor student progress through data collection under the supervision of a BCBA Collaborate with educators, specialists, and parents to ensure consistency and maximize student success Incorporate applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques in daily instruction and support Assist with development and reinforcement of positive behavioral plans Communicate regularly on student progress and any concerns with supervising clinicians and educational staff
