•Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit. This role requires a thorough understanding of dental hygiene practices, patient education, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients. Review patient documentation and medical history to ensure accurate treatment planning. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist in the implementation of infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment. Utilize dental practice software and other systems for documentation and patient management. Conduct vital signs assessments as part of the initial patient evaluation. Stay updated on anatomy knowledge and medical coding relevant to dental procedures. Qualifications Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Strong understanding of infection control practices and procedures. Knowledge of anatomy related to oral health is essential. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate patients effectively. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for documentation review.
