Registered Dental Hygienist

Small private fee-for-service (out of network) office seeks motivated dental hygienist to join our team. As an out of network provider, a hygienist can have more time and treatment options to provide the best possible patient care in a calm, modern office. Our office has digital patient records and radiographs, intraoral cameras, digital impressions with intraoral scanners and a diode laser to help achieve the best results for our patients. The ideal candidate will be confident with technology, but training is always offered-new grads are encouraged to apply. Currently the position is available as either part time or full-time between two locations. Relaxed work environment for a confident and efficient self-starter. The ideal candidate will also have the following: Excellent hygiene skills; proficient with all aspects of the profession Strong communication skills with patients, doctors, and team members Confident in presenting treatment recommendations to patients and doctors Able to achieve a high level of patient satisfaction and to create value for the treatment provided Comfortable with computers and working in a paperless office Flexible to adapt to new systems Well organized and efficient in carrying out tasks Detail oriented to deliver high quality in all aspects of work Laser-certified is a plus, but training is available All licensed hygienists are encouraged to apply whether experienced or a new graduate. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental hygiene exams, including patient assessment, vital signs, and radiographic imaging as needed. Provide patient-centered care, charting, and documentation while ensuring HIPAA compliance. Conduct professional cleanings, scaling, root planing, and preventive therapies; apply fluoride and sealants as appropriate. Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment options, and care plans; communicate findings clearly to patients and team. Maintain infection control, aseptic technique, and accurate medical/dental records using Dentrix software.

Pay:

From $68.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 32.0 per week
