Registered Dental Hygienist

Overview Deese Dentistry is a well-established, family focused dental practice seeking a friendly, motivated, and dependable Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about patient care, has a positive attitude, and works well in a team oriented environment. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental prophylaxis, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth to prevent decay and gum disease Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies tailored to their needs Administer local anesthesia (if certified) and nitrous oxide sedation as needed Take and interpret dental radiographs (medical imaging) Maintain accurate medical records, document treatment plans, and review documentation for completeness and accuracy Work closley with doctors and team members to ensure smooth daily operations Helping support the team in other areas of the office when needed Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information and managing medical records securely Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice in a clinical setting Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Dentrix for documentation and scheduling Strong communication and interpersonal skills Positive attitude and team player mentality Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented

Pay:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
