Registered Dental Hygienist

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing patient assessments, executing preventive dental care, and assisting in various dental procedures while maintaining a clean and safe environment. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations. Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing to maintain optimal oral hygiene for patients. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain aseptic techniques throughout all procedures to ensure patient safety. Aid the dentist with procedures and emergencies as needed Maintain patient confidentiality Provide care in conjunction with accepted professional dental practice standards Comply with safety procedures, rules, and regulations in order to maintain a clean and safe working environment Keep accurate records of patient treatments and progress within the dental office systems. Experience Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene Program Active Dental Hygiene License Current CPR Strong working knowledge of dental terminology, equipment and practices Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Benefits Pay is an hourly rate and will be determined based on experience and length of service. The office schedule is Monday-Thursday averaging 30 hours per week.
