About Our Practice Join Dentistry at Nahor, a thriving, privately owned practice where patient care and clinical excellence come first. We are a digital, paperless office dedicated to providing modern, compassionate dental care. Located in a high-need area near Lake Monticello and Charlottesville, our practice offers the perfect balance of a thriving career and an exceptional quality of life. We are looking for a team member who wants to build lasting relationships with our patients and become a long-term part of our office family. Summary of the Role We are searching for a skilled and dedicated hygienist to provide a comprehensive range of preventive services. In this role, you will be a vital part of our patient-centered setting, focusing on continuity of care and fostering trust with the families we serve. You will work closely with our dedicated staff and the owner-dentist to promote a warm, supportive environment that makes a meaningful difference in our patients' lives.
Duties & Responsibilities Relationship-Based Care:
Build and maintain long-term relationships with patients, ensuring they feel known and valued at every visit.Preventive Care:
Perform high-quality prophylaxis and periodontal maintenance for a diverse patient base in a single-column hygiene model focused on clinical excellence and patient experience.Periodontal Therapy:
Conduct comprehensive periodontal care thorough scaling and root planing (SRP) and monitor periodontal health.Diagnostic Assistance:
Evaluate medical histories, capture high-quality digital X-rays, and perform thorough periodontal screenings.Clinical Documentation:
Capture clear intraoral images to document clinical findings and assist in patient co-discovery of treatment needs.Digital Workflow:
Maintain accurate, timely clinical notes and treatment plans within our fully paperless practice management system.Patient Education:
Partner with patients to improve their health through tailored brushing and flossing techniques and nutritional counseling.Team Collaboration:
Work seamlessly with the dentist and staff to ensure a cohesive, family-oriented experience for everyone in the office. Requirements Valid Virginia State Dental Hygiene License and CPR certification.Professionalism:
A pleasant and compassionate personality with the ability to make patients feel comfortable and at home. Local Anesthesia certification and experience with sealants (preferred). Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly rate based on experience. ($50- 55)
