Together, we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients by providing exceptional dental care with a personal touch. ```Job Summary``` We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings, provide patient education on oral hygiene, and assist the dentist during procedures. If you are passionate about oral health and have excellent communication skills, we would love to hear from you. ```Duties```
  • Perform dental cleanings, including removing plaque and tartar from teeth
  • Take and develop dental x-rays
  • Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and taking vital signs
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care
  • Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and materials
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix or Eaglesoft software
  • Follow all HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
  • Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment ```Experience```
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist
  • Proficient in using dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft
  • Familiarity with medical coding and terminology
  • Experience with electronic health record systems such as Epic is a plus
  • Ability to take accurate vital signs and perform patient assessments
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
