Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our private one Doctor dental practice located in Highlands Ranch. We have been at this location for 19 years and have built a strong connection with our patients. If you are looking for a long term dental home where you can develop you own hygiene program, and will be supported by Dr. and the office manager, this is the office for you. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a thorough understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and patient care protocols, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical records. Duties Conduct comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients. Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate with patients and team members. Assist in the preparation of treatment rooms and ensure all necessary instruments are sterilized and ready for use. Perform medical imaging procedures as needed, including X-rays. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Collaborate with dentists and other staff to provide exceptional patient care in general dentistry practices. Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies. Experience Previous experience in dental assisting or a similar role is preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and patient care standards is essential. Familiarity with medical imaging systems and procedures is a plus. Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment while maintaining a focus on patient satisfaction.
