Registered Medication Technician (RMT)

Citizens Memorial Hospital Foundation (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Registered Medication Technician (RMT) to provide exceptional care for our residents in Community Springs Long Term Care Center, located in El Dorado Springs, MO. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. About the department:

Community Springs Long Term Care is a 105-bed long-term care skilled nursing facility providing transitional or long-term care. A 15-bed high-functioning memory care unit provides specialized care for residents with Alzheimer's or other memory issues.

A typical day includes:

A typical day will include knowing and applying current nursing theory, principles of treatment, and nursing procedures in the care of residents. Prepares, administers, and documents medications by all routes except those by parenteral routes. Utilizes references materials associated with medication administration to identify side effects, interactions, and nursing implications of medications in use in the facility. Identifies medication errors, completes event reports, and reports to charge nurse for follow- up action.

Education:

HS diploma

Experience:

Must currently be Certified Nurse Assistant AND Certified/ Registered Medication Technician.

ability to work at a fast pace with about 90% of the day consists of walking. The options for shift and schedule can include: Full Time, Part Time and PRN (Per Requested Need).
