Registered Nurse 1

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse I (RN I) to provide quality care to individuals in a residential setting. The ideal candidate will have experience administering medications, monitoring patient health, and supporting individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, psychiatric conditions, and/or geriatric needs.

Work Schedule Shifts Available:

6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.

Lunch Break:

30 minutes (unpaid) Dress Code Scrubs (no specific color or pattern required) Closed-toe shoes with back support Equipment & Work Environment Must provide your own stethoscope and penlight Documentation is paper-based (no electronic charting system) Computer system: Windows OS Minimum Qualifications At least 1 year of experience as a licensed nurse Current, active, and unencumbered RN or LPN license in New Jersey Ability to lift, move, and assist clients physically as needed Preferred Skills Strong observation and assessment skills Excellent communication and documentation abilities Experience working with: Intellectual/developmental disabilities Mental health/psychiatric populations Geriatric care Experience with respiratory equipment and enteral feeding is a plus Key Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments (oral, injection, gastric tube, external) Transcribe and carry out physician orders Monitor patient health, including vital signs and specimen collection Maintain accurate medical documentation and records Manage controlled substance counts Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers Provide first aid and emergency care when needed Support daily living activities (feeding, bathing, dressing, repositioning) Operate medical equipment (oxygen, suctioning, enteral feeding, catheters, etc.) Position Summary Provide nursing care and support to individuals in a residential facility, ensuring their health, safety, and overall well-being through proper medication administration, treatments, and documentation.

Pay:

$55.55 per hour
