Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a reputable long-term care facility in Simsbury, CT. Shifts (3)

• 8 hour
• Mon•Fri 3:00 pm-11:30 pm (1)•12 hour Shift•Every Other Weekend 7:00 am-7:30 pm or 7:00 pm•7:30 am (dependent on business needs Second option•7:00 am-3:30 pm (5 shifts per week, 8h each)

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct nursing care to residents in accordance with established care plans and facility procedures. Monitor and document residents' conditions and communicate any changes to the interdisciplinary care team. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with CNAs and other healthcare staff to ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment. Uphold infection control and safety standards. Provide emotional support to residents and their families. 13 week contract with possibility for extension or a permanent hire if desired

Requirements:

Valid RN license in the state of Connecticut. Long-term care experience required . Strong clinical and assessment skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
