To Be Discussed We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join an Acute Care team. This role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional patient-centered nursing care in a collaborative hospital environment focused on clinical excellence, teamwork, and professional development. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced acute care setting and demonstrate strong critical thinking, communication, and patient advocacy skills.
Responsibilities:
Deliver safe and effective nursing care using the nursing process Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans Administer medications, IV fluids, and respiratory treatments as prescribed Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation in
EPIC EMR
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge care Prioritize patient care needs effectively in a fast-paced environment Follow infection control and patient safety standards consistently Provide leadership, direction, and support to assigned staff members Assist with orientation and training of new employees Participate in continuing education and professional development activities Promote teamwork and positive communication across departments
Requirements:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in South Dakota or eligibility for reciprocity required Minimum one (1) year of nursing experience required Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills required Excellent communication and organizational abilities required
Preferred:
Acute care hospital experience preferred
EPIC EMR
