$60.00 to $65.00 per hour Position Overview Fall River Health Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Acute Care team. This role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional patient-centered care in a supportive hospital environment focused on teamwork, professional growth, and clinical excellence. As an Acute Care RN, you will coordinate and deliver high-quality nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. This fast-paced and rewarding position is ideal for nurses passionate about acute care and improving patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide safe and effective nursing care in accordance with the South Dakota Nurse Practice Act, facility policies, and professional standards Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans Administer medications, IV fluids, and respiratory treatments as prescribed Monitor patient conditions and promptly respond to changes in status Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, and discharge planning Prioritize patient care tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment Follow infection control and patient safety standards consistently Provide leadership, guidance, and support to assigned staff members Assist with orientation and training of new employees Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities Promote teamwork and positive communication within the healthcare team Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of South Dakota or eligibility for reciprocity Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement Prior acute care or hospital nursing experience preferred but not required Benefits Supportive and collaborative work environment Career growth and professional development opportunities Comprehensive benefits package available About Fall River Health Services Fall River Health Services is committed to delivering exceptional patient care while fostering a workplace built on compassion, respect, teamwork, and professional excellence.
