Job description:

The Clinic Registered Nurse Team Lead or Clinic II understands and supports the philosophy and policies and procedures of Aspirus and functions in the capacity of a staff Registered Nurse (See Clinic RN job 2517) with additional accountability in supporting administrative functions. The Clinic Registered Nurse Clinic II works collaboratively to produce, nurture, and sustain a professional practice and healthy work environment that affords and enhances patient care experience, effectiveness, and efficiency through leadership to multidisciplinary teams, effective physician relationships and a shared vision and dedication to the future of Aspirus. In the absence of, and in support of onsite leadership, the Clinic Registered Nurse Clinic II assumes an active role in providing guidance and assistance with clinic operations. In collaboration with the formal leadership team, the Clinic Registered Nurse Clinic II is a liaison for overseeing the functioning of the clinic/department which includes participation in direct patient care as well as ensuring appropriate resources to provide safe, high quality patient care. This position will provide On-site Leadership and will also participate in rooming, RN only visits, triage, and refills.

Experience/Qualifications:

Associate degree in nursing required. Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. Preferred strong clinic setting experience. Leadership role or relevant experience preferred. Possesses an active Wisconsin RN license. Current CPR certification, or within 90 days of hire. All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training through independent study, manikin, and knowledge testing. An acceptable CPR training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED.
