Registered Nurse: Extended School Year Program (ESY) Summer 2026

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

Promotes and protects the optimal health status of children. 1.Develops and implements a health plan for students attending ESY, including medication administration, as needed2.Maintains student health records.3.Promotes and assists in the control of communicable diseases through preventative immunization programs, early detection, surveillance, and reporting and follow-up of contagious diseases.4.Recommends provisions for a safe school environment conducive to learning.5.Coordinates school and community health activities and serves as a liaison person between the home, school, and community.6.Provides health counseling for staff, as needed.7.Provides leadership and/or support for staff wellness.

JOB GOAL

To provide the fullest possible educational opportunity for each student attending the Extended School Year Program by creating a climate of health and well-being in the school.

WORK SCHEDULE

July 6, 2026 through August 6, 20267:15 a.m.-12:30p.m $44 per hour up to 24 hours per week
