Registered Nurses Local Candidates Only:

Maine or nearby states preferred CBL Enterprises is seeking two qualified Registered Nurses to provide medical services for a military youth camp in Gilead, Maine. This is a two-week, on-site assignment supporting approximately 100 youth and 50 adults per week.

Compensation & Hours:

Hourly Rate:

$40.95/hour Week 1: 79.5 hours Week 2: 79.5 hours Total Hours (per nurse): 159 hours

Schedule:

Services are required daily between 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM , with 24/7 on-call availability while camp is active. Arrival required on July 11, 2026 at 1:30 PM (report time 2:00 PM).

Requirements:

Valid Maine RN license or Compact RN license Minimum 1 year pediatric, school, or camp nursing experience Current Adult and Pediatric CPR certification (must not expire during camp) Experience with patient records, medication administration, and care planning Strong communication skills with children, parents, and staff Must pass background/security requirements for military installation access Must bring personal medical tools (stethoscope, BP cuff, PPE) and twin bedding

Duties Include:

Manage and operate the camp medical room Provide care to youth and adult participants Administer medications and maintain medical records Communicate with camp staff and guardians Provide daily health reports to coordinators Work with 1-2 healthcare assistants Attend required staff trainings (July 11-12 and July 18) Provided by

Camp:

Lodging (on-site sleeping quarters) Meals (with limited exceptions) Laundry access Medical supplies, AED, and equipment Camp shirts
