Registered Nurse - Infusion

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse - Infusion to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an infusion setting, ensuring the safe administration of medications and treatments. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. Responsibilities Administer medications and intravenous therapies as prescribed by physicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices. Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate health status and response to treatment. Monitor patients during infusion therapy, observing for any adverse reactions or complications. Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with ICD-10 coding guidelines. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medication administration, and self-care strategies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Assist with family planning consultations as needed, providing relevant information and resources. Perform suture removal and airway management as required in emergency situations. Utilize medical imaging techniques when necessary for patient assessment and treatment planning. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to hospital policies and infection control standards. Experience Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Previous experience in an infusion setting or related clinical area preferred. Proficiency in medication administration, patient assessment, and care management. Familiarity with medical imaging procedures is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively. Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while demonstrating strong critical thinking skills.
