Job Description

Registered Nurse•Med/Surg•Full-Time ($10,000 Sign-On Bonus) Mesa View Regional Hospital is your community medical provider, serving the Mesquite community and its residents with a full range of inpatient and outpatient care; diagnostic imaging; and emergency, medical and surgical care. We are seeking a RN•Med/Surg for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Position Details:
Shift•Full Time Nights Hours•36 per week, 12 hour shifts $10,000 Sign-On Bonus for New Hire with an 18-
Month Commitment Pay Range:
$34.48•$43.10 (depending on experience)
Job Summary:
Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Qualifications:
Requires an Associate degree and is certified as a registered nurse. Prefer Bachelor's degree in nursing. Active Nursing Licensure in the State of Nevada. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures.
