Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - MS Oncology Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is open for a skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in Medical-Surgical Oncology. This contract position allows you to make a real difference by delivering compassionate, high-quality care to oncology patients. Your clinical knowledge and dedication will support patients and families through their treatment journey.
Qualifications:
Active RN license in good standing Minimum of one year of recent experience in MS Oncology or Oncology nursing Proficient in administering chemotherapy and managing cancer-related symptoms ACLS and BLS certifications required Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, emotionally charged environment
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients throughout various treatment stages Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust individualized care plans Administer medications, including chemotherapy, safely and accurately Monitor patient status, report changes promptly, and respond effectively to emergencies Educate patients and families on disease processes, treatment regimens, and side effect management Support patients' psychosocial and emotional needs during hospitalization or outpatient care Maintain timely and thorough clinical documentation This position provides a unique chance to work alongside dedicated professionals focused on exceptional oncology care.
