Schedule/Hours:
  • Travel contract assignment
  • Shifts and hours may vary based on facility needs
Required Qualifications and Experience:
  • Current, unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) RN experience
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Prior travel nursing experience preferred, but not mandatory
  • Expertise in scrubbing and circulating cardiovascular cases
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide skilled nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery
  • Assist surgical team with scrubbing/circulating as needed
  • Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-operatively
  • Maintain sterile technique and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with anesthesia, surgeons, and other OR staff for seamless patient outcomes
  • Document patient status accurately and timely
