Registered Nurse (RN)

Immediate openings for RN's in both Med/Surg department and Nursing Home.

Med/Surg Dept- POSITION SUMMARY :

Under the general direction of the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and/or Administrator the Registered Nurse is responsible for professional nursing care and related assistance to patients of any age group admitted for medical surgical problems. The Registered Nurse provides direction to Licensed Practical Nurses and non-licensed nursing personnel in providing direct patient care. The Registered Nurse supports the medical care of patients under the direction of the Medical Staff pursuant to the mission and objectives of the Hospital.

III. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

A. Current licensure in Georgia as a Registered Nurse. B. Previous clinical nursing experience in provision of medical surgical nursing desired. C. Current verification of competency in cardiopulmonary resuscitation to include basic life support (BLS). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) to be obtained within six months of hire. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred. Must renew certifications every 2 years or per American Heart Association's recommendations. Nursing Home dept

A. Current licensure in Georgia as a Registered Nurse. B. Previous clinical nursing experience in provision of medical surgical nursing and long term care desired. C. Current verification of competency in cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
