Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing oversight and support for individuals enrolled in the West Virginia Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Waiver Program . The RN will work collaboratively with individuals, families, direct support professionals, case managers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, person-centered care that promotes health, independence, and community inclusion. Essential Responsibilities Complete nursing assessments and ongoing health evaluations for individuals receiving IDD Waiver services. Provide medication management oversight, including medication reviews and AMAP training. Train and supervise Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) on delegated nursing tasks and health-related supports. Monitor medical appointments, physician recommendations, and follow-up care. Ensure compliance with WV IDD Waiver regulations and agency policies. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal requirements. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and Individual Program Plan (IPP) development. Respond to health concerns, incidents, and emergencies as needed. Promote the dignity, rights, and independence of individuals served. Qualifications Current, active West Virginia Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to pass background checks and required screenings.
