As an RN, you will be at the forefront of delivering compassionate, high-quality care while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve health outcomes. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories using advanced EMR/EHR systems like PCC. Administer medications and injections accurately following HIPAA guidelines and aseptic techniques, including IV infusions, venipuncture, and catheter care. Ensure that all nursing service personnel comply with the procedures set forth in the Nursing Service Procedures Manual. Assist in developing methods for coordinating nursing services with other resident services to ensure the continuity of the residents' total regimen of care. Ensure that all nursing service personnel are in compliance with their respective job descriptions. Participate in the development, maintenance and implementation of the facility's quality assurance program for the Participate in facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies as requested by the Administrator. Strong background in medical-surgical nursing with exposure to specialties like cardiology (cardiac catheterization), infectious disease care, hospice & palliative medicine, or occupational health. Experience working with diverse patient populations including long-term care residents in assisted living or nursing homes; familiarity with geriatrics and dementia/alzheimer's/dementia care is highly valued. Skilled in performing complex procedures such as sterile processing, ostomy care, gastrostomy management (Gastric lavage), or neonatal ventilator support. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations along with expertise in medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and laboratory testing procedures.
