Registered Nurse (RN) - Assisted Living

The Cedars of Austin is an award winning senior housing campus offering Assisted Living, Memory Care and Independent Living to over 140 seniors in our hometown of Austin and surrounding communities. The Cedars is a 40 year strong family owned and operated business and we are proud of our commitment to provide quality care and housing to those who have served us so well. Only due to a retirement, we are currently seeking a FT RN (32 hours) to join our amazing and dedicated resident care team. We believe our health care staff is the heart and soul of what we do and truly value the importance of their jobs. Our nurses really get to know each and every resident they care for and play a critical role in providing top quality care and services to meet their needs. As an RN on our team you will play a key leadership role in the healthcare department. Our top candidate is a detail oriented problem solver, prioritizes well, enjoys mentoring/educating staff, values teamwork and LOVES seniors. They will possess clear communication skills, self-motivation and ability to work as a productive team member. Professional documentation, critical thinking ability, safe medication management and ability to recognize needed changes while making timely proactive decisions is also required. Key responsibilities include resident assessments and staff supervision.
