PIE Management's healthcare division is currently seeking Registered Nurse (RN)

CORRECTIONAL/CONTRACTUAL

for a local correctional facility located in Manistee, MI .

Shifts Available:

Afternoons 1400-2230 with weekend split 0600-1430

Pay:

Weekly Job Description:

Checks & records vital signs. Administers prescribed medication. Applies surgical dressings & bandages. Provides emergency first aid care. Obtains specimens from patients for diagnostic testing Assists physicians with medical treatments. Coordinates and/or administers medication, therapeutic agents, treatments, to patients. Collaborates with primary and healthcare providers to ensure continuity, timeliness and appropriateness of care. Promotes a therapeutic environment to ensure patients are treated in a professional, ethical and tactful manner. Reports reactions to treatments and medications, as well as changes in the patients emotional or physical condition. Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms. Provides patient education and/or discharge planning.
