36 hours/week Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a 33-bed Cardiac Stepdown (CVCU/Telemetry) unit. This role involves delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care environment, managing cardiovascular and telemetry patients with a typical 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to cardiac and telemetry patients Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and patient condition Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders Respond promptly to changes in patient status and escalate as needed Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record system Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams Maintain a safe, high-acuity patient care environment Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care or telemetry experience Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in cardiac stepdown, telemetry, or cardiovascular units For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
